Known Issues

• Photo albums in News Feed cannot be opened directly
• Month/day names and formatting are not localized

Limitations

This plug-in uses the Facebook Graph API to load data, as opposed to scraping the website. The benefit of this is that the API will not change often and the plug-in won't break when Facebook releases their major and minor redesigns (which can also vary from account to account). The limitation is that the privacy options that your friends set for "Info accessible through your friends" under Privacy Settings will affect what you can see. Most commonly, if a friend does not make photos accessible, they can not be shown in the plug-in. However, you will be able to see photos you are tagged in.

The MediaStream skin provides the best experience for this plug-in, nicely showing thumbnails and comments. Results vary with other skins.

Install

• Double click FacebookPhotos.plexapp
• Go to https://dcstewieg.no-ip.org/plex-facebook to generate a personal access code for your account (Don't worry about scary browser message. Explanation)
• Go to the Facebook plug-in (under Picture plug-ins) and select Connect Your Facebook Account
• Enter your access code
