Loewe Assist MultiControl

The loewe Assist Multicontrol [1] can be used to replace an apple remote. After configuration select the "STB" mode and the 6 buttons of the apple remote are mapped to menu, ok, and the 4 directions on the circular buttons around "OK".

Just download the assist package from loewe via [2]. Enter the mandatory fields (name, surname, email) and click continue.

Vendor is Apple, use "*" for the device.

You are presented with the downloadable package for either windows or mac computers. (Note: running the mac package sent my Mac Pro into a kernel panic, the windows software worked fine!)

Plug the remote into any USB port using the supplied cable (any mini-USB to USB cable should do).

Program it - voila.....

Now selecting "STB" and you are in control !
