(No discussion yet?!? Nobody cares to control Plex with iPhone?)

I can't test it myself for my iPhone haven't arrived yet user posted image but can't you launch Plex (or more or less any other app) without an extra launcher, just recording a Spotlight launch?

BTW, as for the comprehensive list of Plex keys, either I am blind, or it does not list that you can use numbers to skip in movies (just enter HHMM), which is very convenient in my opinion.

And just for the record, it is quite possible Remote Buddy AJAX would be useable to control Plex, too. (Nevertheless, I consider Snatch a much better alternative, at least until Remote Buddy releases the native version and unless it is ways more configurable than the AJAX current one).

XBMC Remote

If you use XBMC Remote you can get a customisable button mode by turning the iPhone upside down. It also has a nice gesture mode so you can move around the menus without having to look at the iphone. More info here XBMC Remote Manual

Wake and Sleep

Hi there. To learn how to wake and sleep a media server or another computer on your home network, see my blog post: Wake and Sleep a Media Server from your iPhone I saved the applescripts as applications, and while they were running added them to the launch pad favorites. Then I just programmed the buttons in Snatch to launch those apps. I think I had to save them as apps, but in a way that brought up a dialog screen first asking if you want to launch them or something, in order to have them open long enough to add them to the launch pad. I then went back and resaved them in the way that makes them just run without the dialog screen.

If that doesn't make sense, let me know, and I'll try and come up with some more explicit instructions.

Typing using the snatch keyboard

Hi, When I want to search a video in youtube and I press the keyboard button for a couple second, The keyboard looks nice and has almost everything you would need. But whatever i type does not appear on the keyboard of iphone. e.g if i typing "Doom", each of the letter appear on the iphone and then disappear. It appears fine in plex, but it very inconvenient to type a letter on iphone and then look at my mac screen and then next letter. I would rather type everything on my iphone and then look at the pc. Hope I didnt confuse you guys.:(
